This page contains link to the three major assignments for the course. A hard copy of the assignments will be provided to the students in class. Additional support for preparation can get viewed by going to Research Support.
During the first marking period of the course, the students will be complete a group project which will include, research writing and a group presentation on a current economic issue. The research project will be 20% of the grade for the marking period. The following links will direct you to the assignment details and the assessment rubric used for the assignment.
During the second marking period of the course, the students will be required to complete two portfolio assignments. Both are 3 to 4 page essays. Both assignments will require students to complete outside research to be used in the preparation of the essay/letter. Each will be 15% of the grade for the marking period.
